Do I have to be home or at my business to get an estimate?

You do not have to be present to receive your free Jacksonville pressure washing estimate. Just call, email, or fill out the form. We will respond promptly to schedule your estimate. It is helpful in some cases so we can better explain our process and expected results.

Do I need to be home while the cleaning is taking place?

You do not need to be home.  We will need access to all areas to be cleaned. Please make us aware of pets in the backyard and instructions for gate access if necessary. We do ask that you close all of your windows, clear your driveway or deck and put away fragile decorations on your home or deck.

Why should I have my siding, brick, concrete, pavers or stucco washed?

Most Jacksonville homeowners have their siding washed for cosmetic reasons and to keep up the property value. In some cases to remove and prevent atmospheric pollutants, mold, mildew and algae from growing. 

Will pressure/soft washing harm my plants or property?

We take precaution to make your cleaning a great experience. Pro Clean uses a technique called soft wash to clean most surfaces. This is a low pressure application of mild detergents and soaps, the low pressure keeps the solution from splashing onto plans and landscaping.

What if my property is accidentally damaged?

We are fully insured; we take careful precautions while working on your property to make sure damage does not occur. Pro Clean carries a minimum of 1 million dollars in liability insurance.

Are all pressure washing companies the same?

Anyone can purchase a pressure washer. Simply owning a pressure washer and advertising you offer a service doesn’t make them a professional company or mean they can operate it effectively. A pressure washer in the hands of an unskilled operator can cause a great deal of damage. We have all seen or heard about the fly-by-nighter who carved into a deck at to high of pressure, killed or damaged the lawn or landscape, damaged siding, or peeled or chipped paint and stucco, etc.

Does Pro Clean Advantage LLC have insurance? How do you provide proof?

We carry a 1 million dollar liability insurance policy. Please ask us for a certificate in your name. Please be aware that someone simply showing you an insurance certificate does not mean that they are currently covered by insurance.  Property owners should ask to be faxed a certificate in their name directly form the insurance agent.

Why is insurance important? Many contractors state they have insurance, but few actually have more than an automobile policy.

If damage occurred to your home by a contractor you will be stuck with the repair bill if they don’t have insurance. Always ask for current proof of insurance in your name.

Do you offer the best prices in town?

Not always, but we do offer the best value. Unusually low priced offers, according to the Better Business Bureau, results in the most complaints and unresolved problems reported to the BBB.

Is there a difference between pressure washing , power washing or pressure cleaning?

No, just different terminology.

I was told that my deck, pavers, siding, etc would be maintenance free.  Is this true?

They may be low maintenance, but anything left outside will get dusty, dirty and show effects from humidity and the sun.

What is the green staining on my siding?

Most likely it is mold.  Mold can grow anywhere there is humidity.

Is mold a health risk?

It can be, especially for those who have asthma and allergies.  We can safely remove exterior mold from most surfaces.

What causes oxidation?

Oxidation is caused by the elements of weather, like extreme heat and high winds.  It comes from a weathering agent that is part of the vinyl siding itself.  This is typical in vinyl siding.

What are the black streaks on my gutters and can they be removed?

The black streaks on your gutters are caused by either the tannins in the leaves and debris or in the oxidation layer of the paint. In most cases the black streaks can be removed with low pressure and the right cleaning solution.

What is this white powdery stuff on my brick, concrete or pavers and can it be removed?

The white powdery stuff is called Efflorescence. It is caused when water seeps through and dissolves salts inside then evaporates leaving the salt and lime on the surface. It can be removed with the proper pressure and efflorescence remover solution.
